"sixty acres "

The protagonist Lee Waite in the short story by "Raymond Carver". Lee Waite was facing with  two important decisions. There are two hunters on their land hunting, he is deciding that he is going or not. The other decision is that they are going  to lease the land to the hunter club or not.

the reason that Lee don't want to ge to their land because those hunters got guns and they are dangerous. Waite also have three kids, his wife and his mother at home he needs to take care of them.  the other decision is that Lee wants to lease the land to the hunter club, but the land is their family's heritage.  Waite's mother also don't want him to lease the land because it's really important to them. She don't want the white mans to step on it , this piece of land means a lot to their family and also represents their family trees.
